time we try to get an older movie, pick a few of them, that way we have backups
if the movie is in bad condition or unavailable. Bekki would like to
thank those who were present at the USG meeting. Rob Bishop commented on our style of member
acceptance. He feels we shouldn’t vote
on new members, we should just let them in.
Though, we vote to make sure we don’t exceed our limit and because we
need to make sure the member is enthusiastic about joining Filmboard.
Vice President:
Sheet is going around; make sure to take a look at the requirements.
Secretary: Updated
the membership list, hopefully there’ll be one in the office soon.
Publicity: Isn’t
any publicity, if you’re signed up to distribute it, stop by the SOS offices on
Thursday.
Equipment: Try
to get the movies together on time.
Webpage: Not
present, but the website will be updated.
Concessions:
Nothing to report.
Treasurer: We
sold 296 tickets for Wonderland and made $156 in concessions. There were about 160 who attended the free
movies.
Advertising:
Frank’s new slides were almost all right side up, should be fixed by
next weekend.
Advisor: One
of the old equipment supervisors would like to upgrade our stuff in the near
future.
Old business:
There was a motion to continue the free movies for one more week, so we can
discuss it next time.
New business:
None.
