President: Transformers: One extra person to sell raffle
tickets on board? Extra raffle tickets: $1. We will do the raffle before the
film. Either the projectionist will do it, or they will appoint someone to do

Huge poster brought in. Movie Voting:
We will be voting on movies 10-13 at next weeks meeting.
Vice President: no report
Secretary: no report
Treasurer: made $1,600 on Ratatouille.
Equipment Supervisor: Issues with ticket window;
wood/metal? We’ll give them a 2 week deadline to get it together. I need volunteers to help work on some stuff
this weekend.
Web page: Date on website incorrect; will
correct it. There are more updates on
the site.
Publicity: (not present) Need volunteers to
put up posters.
Concessions: We’re low on oil. Let
projectionist know if the oil runs out so we can start using the sticks.
Advertising: We
got a couple of new slides for this week.
Concessions should look into getting root beer because there is a great
deal on A&W brand right now.
Advisors: (not present) no report
Committees: Constitution: 10:00 this
Saturday. Let Mark know if you want to be added to the mailing list. Equipment: talked about possibilities
of the outdoor film. Movies: Will discuss films for weeks 10-13.
Old Business: Tickets: Tickets design
reviewed/critiqued. Not business card size; the size of two business cards. Suggestions: Put Michigan Tech at the bottom.

them. Transformers(cont.): It was
brought to the boards attention that people might go through the raffle ticket
table multiple times for their initial ticket. This would be solved by having
some raffle tickets at the movie ticket table and some at the extra table so
that the initial raffle tickets are given out with the movie ticket, and
additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the other table. Popcorn
Machine is sparkling clean. Daniell
Heights: Received $67 check & was given to Kyle.
New Business: Blue Key: asking for
donation for winter carnival. The theme
is Frightful Creatures with Chilling Features. Plaque involved? Motion to donate $250. Passed. Sticom
Club: Would like to show their newest episode before Superbad. Show on Sept 2 & 3 weekend. It’s 22 minutes long. We could use the 2 hr
bracket and use the 5:30, 8:30, & 11:30. They are more organized this time
around, so everything should run more smoothly. Discussion occurred on whether
this is considered advertisement, or supplemental entertainment/ whether this
is a situation worthy of charging the Sitcom club. This will reflect on Film
Board so it should be previewed. Motion to show
episode 2 before every Superbad showing that weekend,
given a screening occurs with no cost for this episode showing.
